Large capacity pack includes six pockets plus main compartment, three mesh pouches, upper and lower gear loops, and four compression straps. Bendable aluminum stays and thick lumbar and upper back pads provide comfort even with heavy loads. Fully adjustable torso, shoulder and hip straps with tensioners and breathable mesh. Floating pocket design allows you to secure tent poles to sides of pack and still access zip pockets and mesh pouches. Holds water bladder (not included).

I've hiked 2 or 3 seasons with this pack and the smaller "Scout"...I recommend the 4000/65L pack. I tend to take more than I may need, but I hate to rough it if I can carry it. The pockets are great for staying organized. The main pocket is large and you can separate the lower part for the sleeping bag if you want. The top "hood" on the bag has interior and exterior zippered pockets which are AWESOME. So easy to get to things you want without going into the main compartment. The attached cover is a nice feature too. I've gotten caught a couple of times in the rain. So far, shows no wear. The zippers are strong and the pack is very comfortable/adjustable even when I'm over-loaded. (Posted on 2/7/2015)
